Leading Teaching Hospital in Ethiopia: Bethel Teaching Hospital

Bethel Teaching Hospital is leading the way in diagnosing and treating simple to acute or complex health problems with a combined capacity of state-of-the-art technology, pioneering medical procedures, and access to internationally acclaimed specialists. At the Hunt Foundation, our current goal is to continue to provide high-quality care on a larger scale by increasing the size of the hospital and the number of patients the facility can accommodate. We are actively engaged in providing new, advanced medical equipment, such as sterilization equipment, operating room beds, CT scanners, and radiation equipment.

Training New Medical Professionals: The Hunt Foundation’s Goal

We plan to train neurosurgeons, bring on an Environmental Services team, and offer a percentage of beds to deliver care for those with limited or no financial resources.

The first and most critical need is to train or enlist the help of doctors across a range of medical specialties. Both permanent and visiting medical professionals are needed to help advance the skills of medical students who, with this training, will bring advanced care to their patients.
